Secrets to love-Knuxikal Chapter 1: From boredom to emergency.

"Sigh" .... "It has been long scince something interesting happened  
near the emerald shrine..." Said a lonely voice in Angel Island. "Wich  
should be good.. Why I am complaning?!... Well, sure kicking Eggman's  
butt is fun, but when he's not here the Master Emerals is safe!" Said  
the lonely voice again... That was Knuckles. As always, guarding the  
Master Emerald. " Maybe I should go see Sonic... Nha... He's probably at  
Amy's place or running somewhere... Tails is way too young to go  
somewhere with me, besides, I think he's helping Vanilla take care of  
Cream and Cheese." Said the echidna without hope. "Well, that's two  
down, and Im sure Shadow won't want visits this late." He said again.  
He think about all the posible chances of meeteing someone, the  
Chaotix were out in a mission, and Ruoge is nowhwere to be found. He  
got everyone out of the list... He sighed. "Why is everyone out in  
something today!" He shouted. He heard a yawn.  
"Well, Im still here." Said a young echidna, Tikal, waking up from her sleep. "Tikal! I'm sorry, I didn't  
mean to wake you up!" "Its Ok Knuckles." Anwesered Tikal with a kind  
smile. Knuckles smiled too. "So, what were you saying about the others  
being out of town?" Said Tikal curious. "Ah. That..." He sighed again.  
"Well it's, just that there has been no trouble with the Master  
Emerald this last days that-" "-You are getting bored?" Interupted  
Tikal. "Well, I mean, That could be but, Ah..." Tikal smiled kindly  
again. Knuckles sighed. " Yhea, Im getting bored..." A cold silence  
apeared, but Knuckles rapdly broke it. "But it's our duty to stay here  
and guard the Master Emerald!" Said Knuckles. "Yhea, but that doesn't  
means that we can't do something fun!" Said Tikal. Knuckles noded. He  
tought for a little while, but finnaly he gave up. "Well, I got no  
ideas, you got one?"

Tikal noded fast. "Yep! How about a date?" Knuckles eyes widened.  
"What? A-A-A date? You mean like the two of us, just the two of us??" Tikal nodded again, this time a little confused by Knuckles reaction. Knuckles face got red, his heart beat raised and he started to sweat way too much. "But, where?!  H-How?! I mean, well, where to go, what to do?! We can't leave  the Master Emerald unguarded!" Tikal laughed a little. "Well, Angel  
Island is a beautiful place by it's own, and we still could keep an  
eye on the Master Emerald from the distance." Tikal waited a moment,  
and said. "Well, that's if you really want to go on a date…  With me..."  
Said Tikal. Her voice sounded sad and off her usual happy spirit. "No! That's not it Tikal! I mean..." Tikal looked down with a  
sad sight as she started to walk away. Knuckles thinked about it for a  
second. They could go without danger of the Master Emerald being  
atacked, but he didnt knew a thing about dates. "Tikal, wait!" He  
telled. Tikal stoped walking and stod there without facing Knuckles.  
"Ill go in a date with you if we are carefull, Ok?"
Tikal turned with a smile on the face and watery eyes. "Really? You  
will Knuckles?" She said. "Yhea. Why not?" Knuckles shurged. Tikal smiled again as she wiped the tears off her face. "Here." Said Knuckles as he went to help Tikal wipe her tears. Both smiled at each other. As they felt the warmth of each other and the last tear dried. "So, Tonight here?" Asked Tikal. "Ermm… Sure!" Said Knuckles" "Well, see ya later then!" Said Knuckles, as he dashed of f. "See ya!" Waved Tikal with a smile on her face.

"On WHAT did I just got into?" Said Knuckles. "OK, OK Knuckles.  Just calm down and we´ll figure out how to get you out of this one." Said Tails. Knuckles, the fearless, guardian, tough it would be a good idea to call an "emergency" meeting because of his "problem". "OK, guys, what´s the emergency?" Sonic brust trough the door. Shadow was just behind him. "Well…" Said Tails. "I´ll let Knuckles tell you that." Awnsered Tails. "What?! Ugh, alright…" Knuckles approached Tails. "Im getting back on you for this one, Tails." Whispered an irritated Knuckles. Tails shook as a chill came trough his spine. "Eheh.. ´Glup´." Knuckles sighed, and faced a wall. He felt his face getting warm, and his cheeks getting red. "I, uhh… I … Kinda got a… _{a date..} "  Said Knuckles shyly. "What was that?" Said Shadow. "_{That I go a date..}" "A what?" Said Sonic. Knuckles breathed deeply. "That I got a date." Knuckles firmly said. Silence filled the room, until Sonic spoke up. "……Sorry, I wasn´t listening. What did you-" "-A DATE you stupid moron! I GOT A DATE!" Screamed  Knuckles. Sonic´s jaw droped. "Pfft…" Sonic was astonished. "Tssk.." "What´s wrong, Sonic?" Tails asked. Knuckles turned and saw Sonic. "Don´t. You. Dare. Sonic… I warn you. You better not-" "BWAHaHaHaHahH!!! So-sorry! Its just-so-so funnyhahahah!" Sonic rolled on the floor, laughing himself out. Knuckle´s face got hotter, and his cheeks got redder as he approached Sonic. Sonic opened his eyes, just to find the red echidna with fury in his eyes.  "Hahahahahahehehehehe….." [I sense doom…] Knuckles raised his fist. As he saw the frightend hedgehog. "Laugh." "Mommy-"---

"You go girl! That´s great!" Said a cheerful hedgehog. "I know! But still, what if I ruin it? What if I fall and make him trip!? What if-" "Miss Tikal, we all know that that will not happen. I think your date with Knuckles it´s going to be perfect!" Said Cream. "Yhea! Angel Island is such a beautiful place! I wish Sonic would take me in a date in a place as beautiful as there!" Said Amy with dreamy eyes.  "Oh, don´t worry Miss Amy! Im sure Mr. Sonic will take you in a date soon!" Said Cream with an innocent smile in her face."But Amy, what should I do?! I want this to be perfect! Are they any secrets to get his attention?!" "Well…" Started Amy. "I have some tips that will make Knuckles-" "Run away at super sonic speed?" "Hey! That not tru-" "Do you ever shut up?" Said a shadow from the window with a smirk of her face. "Rouge!" "Miss Rouge, Hi!" "From all places!" Said The annoyed hedgehog. "Now why don´t you come here, and repeat that ON MY FACE!" Said Amy. With her Piko-Piko in hand. "Oh, quit the whining! If YOU had asked me to talk with you  I wouldn´t have come here the first place!" Said the bat rolling her eyes. "Ok, you two! Stop fighting, please!" Said Cream. "Thanks for coming, Rouge." Said Tikal, bowing. "No problem, hun. What can I do for you? I heard that you had a date with the hot-head echidna, is that true?" "He´s not a hot-head, he just got a temper. But yes, Im going on a date with him. How did you knew?" Asked Tikal. "I can hear Sonic´s pain screams from here." Said Rouge laughing a bit. "Um… Ok, I wasn´t expecting that…" Said Tikal. Silence filled the room for a couple of seconds. "So I suppose you want me to tell you how to get his attention, Huh?" Asked Rouge, Not paing attention to any other but Tikal. " Y-Yes, please." Blushed Tikal. "First of all, You need to change that outfit. You have worn it for way too long!" "My outfit? You think so?" "I have to agree with her in this one, Tikal." Said Amy. "Hey, ``Pinky´´. You got any clothes that aren't that ugly red dress?" Asked Rouge. "Yes, They are in the clo-… HEY!" "Fine then, Let´s see what can we do!" Said Rouge.
